If you’re new to teaching, the end of the summer may bring more than chills from the cooler air. If it is your first time with a classroom of your very own, it can be a little nerve wracking. It is important to remember that every teacher starts out in the same place – new – and learns by doing as they go. And that isn’t just limited to the first year of teaching, either. You can always learn from your colleagues (no matter how long you’ve been on the job) and you’re likely to find that your students teach you things more often than you may want to admit.
