Luxembourg residents have the highest standard of living in Europe but their lead is shrinking, latest figures suggest.
Luxembourg has the highest standard of living when comparing per capita consumption to the purchase of power. Even though the score has gone down from 2012 to 2013 they are still doing well compared to other countries in their standard of living. What i found interesting was that the only two countries that were close to Luxembourg's standard of living were Norway and Switzerland which are both non EU members.
